The entire system is very cost effective and less than regular cat litter. The pellets only need changed once a month and the liner once a week for one cat but every 4 days for 2 cats using the same litter box. I recommend this product to all cat owners. However, my cat has a strong urge to bury the poo and there just aren't enough pellets to last as long as they say. If my cat has loose stools this system is just a mess!!
