Summary: Perfect Solution
Comment: This gate is the perfect solution for odd angles and wide spaces. We needed to gate off our family room from our hallway and other rooms. This gate was our solution for creating a diagonal block. Plus it is easy to remove and bolt into the walls. We have a bad history with mail order products, and this was by far, the easiest gate to install.

Comment: Buy from a local store. This one came broken by ups. The box was ripped and the cheap plastic snapped. target charged a restock fee for a broken product.

Comment: It actually fit in the large space we have between our living room and kitchen. I never thought we'd find a gate to block that off. It's even got a door that we parents can easily open and close. Unfortunately our 32 mo old already figured it out. But with #2 due in a few days, it will still be worth it when he starts crawling.

Summary: Unequaled in quality!!!!
Comment: We have two very large entryways around 53" each. We bought two. Each gate can be installed directly into the wall, not in the entryway itself. It also allows for installation over baseboards. The gate goes all the way to the floor to discourage those curious tots from climbing, the latch is hard/too strong for a child to figure out. It has a vertical slat design that also discourages climbing. They have a classy look and a great appeal. The only thing I would suggest is to install the locking plate to the wall upside down to prevent a stronger child from lifting up and possibly taking out of the wall. Not even sure if that could happen, we just took precautions. :) This is a top-notch product, I would recommend this product to any parent.
