Comment: This product does what it says it does. It goes on easily and protects the hard edges of our hearth. My son is now 18 months old and every once in a while tries to take it off the hearth but usually only gets a small portion of it off...and then it easily sticks back into place.

Summary: Good cushions, poor adhesive
Comment: This item worked well... for about a day. If your kids are like mine, they will have no trouble pulling the cushions off of the fireplace. The velcro stays together, but the adhesive gives way. The cushions themselves are nice and not too unsightly, but you will need to apply a stronger adhesive to make them last long term. Also, be careful when cutting them down to size. Mine shrank slightly after applying them, leaving some unintended gaps.
