Summary: Works as advertised
Comment: We bought this gate to keep our baby from crawling up the stairs at a vacation house. It was easy to use after adjusting it to the right width. It takes a long time to adjust the width, so it's not easily movable between locations on a day to day basis but it worked great for our purposes. A little tricky for the older children to step over but no problem for adults.
I think we'll enjoy having this put away to use when we have small guests in the future.
If Evenflo made a similar product for smaller openings, I would buy that as well. Perhaps they do, but I was not able to find such a thing on Amazon.

Summary: Finally The Right Size Gate!
Comment: I have looked everywhere for an attractive gate that would fit the large entrances to the rooms of my home and I was never able to find one until I saw this great creation. It is light and durable and the size of the gate can be adjusted very easily. I have two puppies that I need to keep confined to certain areas of my home and I did not want to damage my walls with the permanent gates and I do not care for the wood frame gates with the plastic mesh, they are weak and they are never big enough. I love this gate so much that I bought three of them. A great gate, easy to put together, high quality and such a cheap price. Thankgoodness!!!

Comment: This product is wonderful, it looks nice with my decor because it is so neutral, and does the job of keeping my son out of our formal dining room. Its nice to have just one room of the house saved for adults and the finer things.

Summary: We use it on our deck.
Comment: Our outdoor deck has a staircase that is over 4 feet wide. The spring loaded rails are very strong. It is a tight fit that our 2 year old has not yet overcome. We have one edge against the house (siding) and the other edge rests on a pillar on the deck. It is sturdy. I recommend it.
